Classroom textbooks are provided to students. Registration fees cover the expense of textbooks; however, novels for English classes must be purchased by students at an additional cost. To avoid these costs, students may check out the books from a local public library or the school library—though limited quantities are available. If students wish to purchase their own copies, they may do so online or from a store (Amazon.com, Barnes and Noble, Half-Price Books, etc.). To do so, locate the correct ISBN number, which is on the back of the book, near the barcode. Be sure to use the ISBN when purchasing books online or from a bookstore.
For your convenience, a book fair will be held on-campus for students from August 21st through September 1st, 2023. Additionally, the book fair will be open during Curriculum Night activities at both campuses. Books can be purchased using cash, credit card, or with a check written to Lake Park High School. Throughout the book fair, books can also be ordered with a credit card through our online bookshop and picked up in the library or shipped to your home. To determine which titles to purchase and the prices of the books at the book fair, please refer to the English class on your student’s schedule and compare it to the list below.
